BARCELONA: UNDER THE SUN OF MEDITERRANEA

For some of us, Barcelona, the second biggest city in Spain after Madrid, is rightly considered a paradise on earth! How can we imagine a more eclectic city! Barcelona, the capital of Catalonia, is a centre and example for: politics, economy, culture, painting, architecture, gastronomy...and even town planning!! Once again: one of those european cities you can't get bored in.

Those who like to go out will find all the hotels, restaurants, bars night clubs and concerts they are looking for.

Those who enjoy cultural events can hardly be happier than in Barcelona. It is indeed a renowned and rich cultural centre of Europe. The city is famous for its architecture with in particular the famous Gaudi. But, painting connoisseurs won't be disappointed either: there are lots of museum. The Fundacio Joam Miro
, Picasso Museum and Fundacio Antoni Tapies are incredible. There is also the National Museum of Art of Catalonia and the Barcelona Museum of Contemporary Art....and I don' talk about the exhibitions and other cultural events...

...We should not forget that those who prefer football (the national sports in Spain) can't be disappointed either! There is indeed the FC Barcelona, one of the best football clubs in Europe, and its incredible Camp Nou Stadium! After winning the UEFA Champion's League in 2006, the FC Barcelona is now starting a new season with the " Fantastic four": Samuel Eto'o from Cameroon, Thierry Henry from France , Lionel Messi from Argentina and of course Ronaldinho from Brazil.

And last but not least, not so many european cities can claim so many activities, treasures and at the same time sea, sun and beaches! Londoners know what I am talking about...
